Bath bus survey

David Martin with the bus petition

Your local Liberal Democrats are working with bus operators and passengers to improve bus services in Bath.

Council Lib Dems have persuaded the biggest local bus operator (First Bus) to hold a review of its local fares and services in 2014. We are also working to secure a similar review from all other bus operators.

Bathwick councillors David Martin and Nicholas Coombes want to hear your experience of using buses locally, and any suggestions you have on how to improve them. They will use these to push for improvements from all bus companies.

Please take a couple of minutes to complete the survey at http://bathlibdems.org.uk/fairer-fares, or look out for the survey when it is delivered through your door.

  1. […] Democrats will continue to campaign for practical and affordable public transport; our own bus survey is still running at […]

  2. David James says:

I live in cranmore place in bath ( BA22UP) we have the number 14 bus service pass through our housing estate . I wrote a letter of complaint to the bus provider asking them to review the amount of buses entering our housing estate ( 72 per day … One every fifteen minutes from 6 am until midnight) Most of the residents here are in agreement that the constant flow of empty buses travelling above the 30 mile per hour speed limit regularly is neither wanted or needed. I raised the issue with Natasha tag holm from first bus group when a child was nearly run over by a bus who was clearly speeding and oblivious to the child and have no response whatsoever !!! I would like to hear your comments on this matter
